Teacher

Bellnor Summer Camp is a language camp where the first part of the day is dedicated to English lessons.

Kids are organised into groups based on their language level and every group can have up to 2 teachers.

Teachers are provided with a general lesson plan which they use as the base for the lesson but teachers need to adjust to the needs and interests of the group that they are teaching. During the lessons the teachers are required to cover new vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar.

The main role of the teacher is to make learning fun for the kids and encourage them to use English as much as possible.

Teachers also help out with afternoon and evening actives.

Skills needed for this role:

  • Creative thinking

  • Communication

  • Thinking on your feet

  • Being organised

  • Ability to work by yourself and with others

  • Flexibility

Most importantly you need to remember that we are a team. Even though there are different positions at the camp everyone helps everyone when needed.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a lot of experience we will be assisting and guiding you.

Our goal is to create the best experience for the kids, broaden their horizons, make them more confident in their language and communication skills but perhaps most importantly show that learning can be fun.
